Clean Silicon AS (CleanSi) is a startup company founded in 2010 in Oslo, Norway. CleanSi has an approved Norwegian patent to produce pure silicon for solar cells and possesses the technology for the production of hight purity silicon for solar cells. The company has a demonstration facility near Oslo, Norway. CleanSi is jointly owned by Oslo Innovation Center, and some of Norway’s most important companies in technological innovation.
